Skills Scotland are highly inspirational, free careers and skills events for 14-19 year olds that thrill and motivate students. In 2011 the events go national in Edinburgh on 8 November, Glasgow on 16 & 17 November and Aberdeen on 22 November. Hands-on interactive features give a real taste of future career options.

Skills Scotland will be the biggest skills and careers event for 14-19year olds in Scotland. As an exhibitor you will be meeting the next generation of employees for your organisation. With the emphasis on interactivity visitors get the chance to touch, feel and experience first hand the huge range of careers available and you get the chance to show what your organisation has to offer.

Who Will Visit

10,000 visitors will visit the Skills Scotland series of events.

Approximately 7,000 visitors will attend the Glasgow event over the two open days.

The Aberdeen and Edinburgh one day events will attract approximately 1-2,000 visitors each.

The majority of visitors who will attend between 9.30am – 3pm will be organised and pre-booked visitors from schools, FE colleges or other groups.

Other visitors will be welcome to attend including parents, carers and families, young adults and professionals working with young people.

All schools, colleges and other groups across Scotland will be invited to choose to attend one of the three Skills Scotland events.
